Basic Cookery 1


A hands-on course teaching the fundamental skills needed in a home kitchen, including basic knife skills, cooking methods and techniques for healthy dinners.  The course is perfect for first time home leavers, consisting of 3 hands-on lessons.  Participants cook each item themselves.

Lesson 1  Roast chicken & gravy, how to carve, potato gratin & chocolate brownies
Lesson 2  Thai curry, basmati rice, drop scones &
butterscoth sauce
Lesson 3  Carbonara pasta, spaghetti bolognaise & lasagne

WHAT TO BRING:  An apron and drink of your choice
