2 Silwood Kitchen  1 day  70%  Amy has the passion but also her own mind when doing things. I think she will struggle in a very strict environment where she won’t be able to give her meaning about anything.
3 De Grendel Restaurant 0 days 90% It was a pleasure to have Amy in our kitchen.
4 The Foodbarn Restaurant 0 days 65%  Amyleigh’s ego gets in the way of her ability to learn. We have asked her many times to put her cell phone away during work hours only to find her hiding around a corner busy on her phone. She is very easily distracted by conversation, resulting in her work being neglected. She often changes things in the section without permission. This is very frustrating, as we always have to run around fixing.

She has potential to become a good chef, but needs to be more open to guidance from her seniors.
5 Open Door Restaurant 0 days 63%  Amyleigh has a know-it-all attitude which makes it very difficult to toy and teach her. But she does what’s needed and hopefully with experience she will realise that she still needs to learn a lot.

COMMENTS:

GENERAL: Amy is a confident young chef who works well in a team. She thrives when given creative leeway. I know she has flourished at De Grendel and I look forward to seeing her progress in her last two blocks. In order to graduate, Amyleigh will have to rewrite her wine exam which she has failed for the second time. She has missed 3 days so far which she is currently making up at De Grendel. She will start off her new term at The Food Barn.
ICING: Amy is always focused at icing and producing a high standard of work.

Practical exams (work) require 60% to pass and Theory exams (work) require 50% to pass.
abs stands for ABSENT.
N/A stands for not applicable – a class was not held.
60% is required to pass an in-service block; failure of a block will require the student to redo another block before graduating.
